I felt like I had awakened from a bad dream into a strange world that I had to learn how to Navigate. I was a true SIMP by every definition. If you don't know what one is then look it up and don't be one. Here's a good video for reference https://youtu.be/I5fbt1fcdNQ .
I had no idea there was a MGTOW world I was a man married to a woman who had him wrapped around her finger and helped to raise her two children as well as the one we had together. I worked constant overtime to get everything she wanted. I was a blue pill Hero in everyway. I worked 4 or 5 twelve hour shifts a week and on my days off I would do laundry for 7 people who lived in our house. I was a happy wife happy lifer. Completely absorbed in my blue pill beta world with my beautiful wife who spent money foolishly and never let me discipline her kids. Her son became a drug dealer and freed me from my Blue Pill world one night after I threw away his drugs he was selling, alot of them, probably three pounds of weed. He became violent and attacked me in the middle of the night one night pounding on my head yelling "that was $400 Nigga!, you stole $400 dollars from me" (he's not black and neither am I) after I had found his drugs in his room and thrown them out because what man is going to put up with a drug dealer in his house.
It wasn't the act of throwing away the drugs that upset this now tall and muscular 17 year old stepson I had it was that I stood up for myself and said No to his bullshit and his moms allowing his bullshit. I couldn't fight back because she would have called the cops on me and had me hauled away and I would have lost my professional licence, my son, and my freedom.
In most cultures they have a term for the kinda man I was for blacks its a SIMP, for mexicans its the Mandelon sorry my computer won't do the accent thing, for whites I guess you could say I was pussywhipped and for the world of reddit I was a blue pill beta. But every man has his breaking point.
I said NO and stood up for what I believe in and as I had promised if that boy ever came back without an apology or anything I would leave. And when she brought him home and he started telling me how he was brought up in the ghetto and how he had ambitions of becomming a legal drug distributer when Marijuana became legal. How he was working on his rhymes. I did exactly as I had promised after a weekend of my conscious telling me "You don't have to live this way you could leave., I walked up to her and said "I don't want to live in a drug house, I don't want to be with you anymore and I'm getting a divorce."
She cried her eyes out when I told her I was leaving I didn't feel sorry for her at all. I quickly went in survival mode and within two days I had found another man at my work who was also going through a divorce and needed a place to live, found an apartment, contacted a realtor and a divorce attorney a female one who hates women and also cared about my rights as a father.
Despite having every reason to leave I almost went back to my blue pill cage because it was so ingrained in my head to be a blue pill hero provider and serve my beautiful evil queen that I didn't know what would life be like without her? I searched for meaning everywhere and found places like MGTOW and the Red Pill and found that I wasn't alone. Everyone at my job also told me I had every reason to leave and "what took you so long?"
Two years later: I live a simple life now. I work, am cleaning up the financial wreckage of my divorce, and am spending as much time as I can with my son. I am raising my son MGTOW and tell him to focus on goals and try to show him how women are a waste of time. My two awful stepkids are in prison for attempted murder of the stepdaughters boyfriend, a crime they committed after I was gone. I told my ex recently when she told me she wasn't afraid of Karma because she did nothing wrong, "Three assholes ruin a family, now two of them are in prison and the third waits for them to get out KARMA!". She doesn't get it, don't ever waste your time explaining things to a narcissist.
I spend every second I can with my son and try to teach him how to be a man who things for himself and he even mentioned to me "why have a wife daddy they just take your money". I learned the hard way, I don't suggest it. As a man I recommend using condoms when having sex always. Don't knock up anyone and if you do it doesn't mean you have to marry them. That's old thinking and going to burn you in todays sexual marketplace. If you have red pill rage its okay it doesn't last forever. If you have kids with your Blue Pill queen here are some tips to divorce.
1) From the very beginning establish a pattern of taking the kids with you anytime you can. She's going to try to keep you away and poison their heads against you when you are not there. So every night you can, or weekday, or after school, or weekend try to get them.
2) Don't leave the house until you sell it. She can block you.
3) Get all the financial pain out of the way in the beginning just split everything up and if you can stick her with the house mortgage just remember to take your name off of everything she will ruin your credit by not paying items that are in your name.
4)Remember the longer divorce goes the more lawyers make and they want a piece of your house so be careful.
5) Don't date another single mom ever again. They will be on your jock right away because they saw what a great blue pill Hero you were and believe me they will be tempting you from the very start but you are in recovery now read this sub and books like "The Book of Pook", and "No More Mr Nice Guy" and don't fall for the trap right away.
6)Stop giving a fuck about what goes on at her place, who cares and there's nothing you can do about it. Put her on the zero fucks list.
7) Live as lean as possible, I only work three 12 hour shifts now and I live within my means to keep her from taking me back to court and getting money from me.

in the interest of full disclosure, I make a living in the cannabis industry, so I am biased. I think you may have handled this poorly with the 17-year-old kid. Kids are naive and impressionable, and an unstable childhood is clearly gonna lead to some issues that need to be sorted out. Of course he was pissed that you stood up to his "bullshit". You admittedly acted like a bitch and let the bad behavior happen, so why should he respect you when you finally stand up to him? Selling weed illegally is bad, and he probably has little to no chance of rapping for a living, but authoritarian control over his choices rather than showing him how/why to make good choices and navigate through life is not the way to go imo. The dynamic of raising someone else's kid can be toxic, so I can't blame you for your reaction. This was a "straw that broke the camel's back" situation providing a convenient route to establish control after letting a lot of other grievances go. It's good to hear you are happy now, and spending time with your son. I hope he steers clear of cannabis for your sake, but if he doesn't don't disown him lol

Oh wow, that situation was way out of hand and impossible to fix. Glad you are out OP, that was really the only solution. I was thinking it was just a weed issue with the kid, which would have been easier to manage. Some people have to learn the hard way, and some people never learn. Hopefully, prison will instill an appreciation for what he previously took for granted.
Definitely won't be going out with single moms, I have enough issues with childless women. Also, I'm a glass artist, and working on an environmental horticulture degree, so no selling (yet). My goal is to help people like your aunt access clean organic medicine legally in my state, which recently approved medical sales.
