I met 1 woman and went on a date with her.. was attracted to her in the beginning. She did pull "lets just be friends" card early on and I tried.. whole friends failed and I cut contact with her because:

Fuck that. I am divorced and Im sure My Ex is telling people we are "still friends".. we are not.. she is "girl I used to know"... after divorce is final and all ties are severed there is literally not a single reason for me to ever contact her. So I don't.. she called me few times and left messages about stuff like.. "hey you are computer geek.. how do you download music from youtube?".. and i totally ignored those.

i am friends with people who are cool with me, regardless of their gender. i don't make friends with women that shit test me or play games with me. and it's the same for men, i don't mess with guys that are fake. that's a very immature quality. whoever says that girls doing "shit tests," is nature, that's complete bullshit. there's a reason why their "lizard brain" is interested in you, because they are attracted. not my fault they've been brainwashed with dumb methods.

i'm actually a virgin. it wasn't at choice at first, but now ive had a few scenarios in the past few months where girls have been interested in me and i chose not to go in for various reasons (mainly focusing on my career through the lense of college/education). i don't want to hook up with a psycho bitch or a dickriding hoe for a cheap trill, i want something that's like a fucking dynasty #nawalt.

Friendzone is bad. By definition, the friendzone is when you're trynagetsome and failed. At that point, the entire premise that you approached her on has been nuked. She won't even wingwoman for you, in fact she'll brag to her friends that she rejected you, which is the fucking opposite.

Friend zone is a ticking time bomb. I was friend zoned and the girl would belittle me constantly. Stuck around bc I was a beta pussy who kept thinking if I was as patient as the dawn sun creeping on the horizon, I’d have my chance.

No friendship with someone with whom you made an existential deal, trusted with your life and who then lost interest in the relationship because something better was out there. And you have wasted years on a relationship which turned out to nothing in the end. Think about all the experiences you had together, not the huge stuff, but shopping, weekend get-aways, etc., the little things you get used to and confortable with and which form a part of the fabric of your life. After the breakup do you still fondly remember those or do you rather not think about these times because of the pain they now carry for you? Do this two or three times during your life then how many years or even decades of your personal history has large chunks you don't want to touch anymore? My parents are married since close to sixty years and they have a consistent history with each other and can cherrish their shared memories. Until recently all few years I could throw huge chunks of memories away because of the inhumanity of some hypergamous bitch. I see no foundation for friendship at all here.

Regarding being friendzoned: I never allowed that to happen. It is degrading and I don't need to add that kind of disrespect to my psychological issues.

Friend zone or otherwise, I think it is possible to be friends with a woman, at least conceptually. If at any point there was a romantic pass, and it was rebuffed there should be no further attempt at it. It's a one and done proposition, regardless of who changes their mind about it. If you make a pass, that is your best sales pitch, if she doesn't buy it, but later after consideration comes back, too late the sale is over.

What I have learned in my many years is on a very seldom occasion you can find a good friend in a female, but for the larger majority they make shitty friends. The rule of thumb in my opinion is can you get benefit out of the arrangement. In other words, if you asked her to help you move a pool table, move to a new house or apartment, pick up medicine for you if you are sick, take you to a doctor's appointment because you have no other option. She is unwilling to do things like this that most male friends will do it's best to let the arrangement peter out. If she can't/won't do stuff like that she is not a friend, she is a user. She sees you either as a utility or as a backup plan. Cut her out.

My answer on ex-partners is short and sweet. No, once they are an ex, they are like a ghost, as if they never existed at all to you. The only reason that an ex wants to keep you around is for the D cause it was so good, or a backup plan. If you show willingness to stick around, it's as good as saying "use me, I like it".
