A lot of what I think I read on this board is a little idealistic. There's a lot of stuff about how things should be, how what happened to someone was wrong, and so on. I'm as guilty of this as anyone. This is classic cuck/simp thinking, by the way, where you believe, because you were trained, that certain things are "right" and certain things are "wrong" and despite taking an unbelievable amount of punishment because of buying into all this, you see that punishment as validation. You know that line from The Offspring song: "The more you suffer, the more it shows you really care."

I think it makes more sense to replace it with the idea that we didn't create this world or this system or the people in it. We're not responsible for what other people do, or value, or believe. And the sooner we figure all this out, and behave in accordance with all that, the richer, more effective our lives are going to be. Stop fighting with the world -- use it, be strategic, and above all, ask yourself the one question you're REALLY not supposed to: "What's in this for me"? If men asked themselves this honestly, feminism would collapse in a day. I'm trying to teach myself to be realistic and effective.

Further, I think this all comes into play in at least three interconnected ways -- money, honesty and women.

First, money. Money makes your life better, it helps you protect what and who you care about, and it can be used to lengthen your advantage. If you don't want to waste two hours a week grocery shopping, money can get your shit delivered, during which time you can ... make more money! There is a major, qualitative difference between driving a BMW and a Prius. Money buys that. All the bullshit about how money isn't really that important vanishes the second you're dealing with a serious illness. Making more money should be a priority for every man on this board.

Second, honesty. Honesty is the most grossly overrated thing in the world. Almost nobody tells you what they're actually thinking or want, or is interested in an honest discussion of your ideas, unless you're paying them for it (think of a shrink, see previous discussion of what money will buy) or they're a very close friend. It is almost always an excellent idea to keep your opinions about anything that matters to yourself, as well as your plans. You don't have to outright lie to people but every animal ever created has used deception as a fundamental survival tool, and despite its alleged moral value, making sure people know what you think is pointlessly risky, and will just weaken you.

And finally, women. There are literally millions of words about what women are like on this board, so I don't need to try to rehash any of that. But my point is -- you can use this to your advantage. You can enjoy them like crazy without putting anything at risk -- your heart, time, sanity or fortune -- if you just stop pretending something different is going on. I was thinking of this this morning, because I saw a picture of an old THOT I knew. She is absolutely gorgeous, talented, smart, charming, the whole package. She's also almost completely self-centered, deeply dishonest, and manipulative as anything. I know what that the theme of this board is, but I could have slept with her and didn't because I was a simp. If she thought I could help her land a record deal, or make money, she'd be on her knees with her mouth open in ten seconds flat. I wish I had. It would have been fantastic, and even if it wasn't, it would have been very educational. I still may -- I have no doubt she'd cheat on her husband if she thought there was something in it for her - but the point is, I didn't create her, I'm not going to change her, why not enjoy her?

TLDR: If the map and the ground disagree, the map is wrong.
