I'm still convinced they gave captain Marvel the haircut and made her disappear the entire movie because they knew the audience would hate her. Even in her own movies, critics say the side characters carried her.

It is sad to see how comic books, a boy/male thing historically, is now in a situation where we have harpies screaming about there not being enough female representation in comic movies. Women only jumped on the bandwagon once the film's started coming out and now they want all of the privilege but weren't there reading comics like I was when I was young. Piss off.

As a guy who's seen every Marvel movie within the first few days of coming out, I did enjoy this movie. However, there were a few points which soured me almost ruined it.

The point about Thor going into depression and all that can be picked apart all you want, but it kind of makes sense, at least imo from a writers point of view. He's a god and viewed as the most powerful Avenger (disregard Larson of course). Guy gets a huge power upgrade in Ragnarok after losing his mom, dad, brother, planet and then half his people. Yet, despite being a god and beyond powerful, he couldn't stop Thanos. HOWEVER, I think that by the 3rd act, he should have gotten turned around and became his normal, non-drunk self again.

Also, what they did to Hulk killed me. It made for some funny moments, but as a huge Hulk fan (my bedroom as a child was green and purple), I just wanted to see Hulk finally whoop Thanos' ass. It seemed to me that that was going to be exactly what would occur, given his defeat by Thanos in the opening of A:IW. Everybody would have loved that.

All the Captain Marvel scenes felt incredibly forced. You could tell the rest of the cast had zero chemistry with her and her terrible attitude showed through in her pitiful "acting". You can tell she tries to act and not be a tombstone, but it seems amateurish and beyond obvious that she is forcing it.

The waymyn gurrlll power scene was beyond cringe-worthy. For me, it was even worse than any of Larsons's scenes. I liked most of the established females in the MCU before this; Scarlet Witch is awesome and imo, she should of been the one to take out the ship.
