I found the stats posts interesting so decided to check out mine for this round of Tinder (I've been on twice before and ended up in relationships). I thought it might interest others.
I am a divorced 45/f, parent with 50% custody, living in a major city, slim, attractive, highly educated, search limits: male, aged 41 to 54, under 10 miles, don't mind if they have children or not, I am looking for a relationship, not casual, rarely swipe right on a blank or minimal profile.
Total swipes: 2355
Right: 134 (5.7% of total) *If you were to see my right swipes you'd be surprised at the wide variety of men, both in terms of looks and other attributes. Shared interests (literature, film, arts) almost always get a right swipe as does a clever or interesting profile. If I'm attracted but the profile is boring, I may swipe right depending on how desperate I feel ;-) I have swiped right on bald/short/fat based on shared interests or a compelling profile (note: I specifically mentioned bald/short/fat because some men think being one or more of those is a death sentence for dating, not because I view it negatively.)
Left: 2221 (94.3% of total) *Blank profiles almost always get a left swipe as does a lack of photos. Casual/poly/fwb also get a left swipe. Looks do come into the picture but are definitely not the most important criteria. Lack of shared interests will probably get a left swipe. Boring profiles require physical attraction to be there, but even then, I might not bother. Profiles that are negative or bitter will get a left swipe. Too many drinking photos, too many sporting photos, or photos with another woman who is not their mother or part of a mixed sex friends shot will also get a left swipe. Men who mention wanting to have a family will get a left swipe. Spelling/multiple grammatical errors will get a left swipe. I don't mind fat men but obese will get a left swipe. Men that are just visiting or temporarily living here or who have poor English also get a left swipe.
Matched: 80 (59.7% of right swipes) *This is lower than I expected. Most of the time I get an instant match. Not as popular as I thought!
Message sent by either party: 58 (72.5% of Matched) *I generally don't send the first message. My profile is funny and descriptive so there is a lot of material there to comment on. Witty, intelligent banter is important to me so the first message is a way to make a good impression.
No message or unmatched: 22 (27.7% of Matched)
More than 2 messages each exchanged: 32 (40% of Matched)
2 or less messages each (most of the time they ghosted): 17 (21.3% of Matched)
Match messaged me, I did not respond: 9 (11.3% of Matched) *I do feel bad about this but sometimes after revisiting the profile I change my mind.
First dates: 7 (8.8% of Matched) *I also swiped on Bumble for a week or two and went on 4 first Bumble dates, no seconds.
Second date: 2 of 7 *One of these was not due to chemistry... I just felt like I ought to give him another go.
Multiple date: 1 of 7 (1.25% of Matched)
Number I felt chemistry with: 2 (2.5% of Matched) *The other guy I felt chemistry with told me he wanted another date but then never organized it, despite me initiating contact a few times. He had a lot of big stuff going on in his life and was also recently separated. **There was possibly a 3rd guy that I could have felt chemistry with but I suspect I prevented it from happening because I felt like he was too attractive and had a dating history filled with short term, so I felt like he wasn't serious. In retrospect I should have given him a chance.
Number of first dates who said they wanted to see me again: 7 of 7 *Or 11 or 11 including Bumble. However as I mentioned above, saying they'd like a second date and organizing one are two different things. That said, I'm fairly confident at least 9 would have organized a second date.
Type of first dates: 2 dinner, 3 drinks, 2 coffee *Bumble 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 2 drinks **Guy generally paid in full. I prefer he pays the first time but I'd rather go for a drink (I'll generally only have one) or a coffee to minimize costs. Depending on what we do I might also shout them to something, e.g. dessert, a drink elsewhere.
Struck gold: 1 of 7 (1.25% of Matched) *So far about 7 dates, sex and sleepovers, neither of us interested in seeing others, so far he is wonderful and I am keen to see him again.

Holy fuck at 36 days.
Just reading that fills me with rage. And it’s not the fact she went on dates, that’s a human thing. It’s her condescending, entitled tone. You can just feel that through her post. And it’s due to all the thirsty fucking dudes out there giving this woman value. Paying for her shit.

the easier something is to acquire, the less value it has.
as long as she has thirsty guys willing to invest their time and money in her, her attitude will continue to worsen. when men no longer pursue her, she'll ask where are all the good men, and blame men for changing.
same as it ever was, just exacerbated by dating apps

Idiot blue pill men have chosen to completely give any power they had away, simply to feel a wet hole (which has become immensely harder to attain, because they have given said power away. As a result, women became more entitled and picky) once every few months, if they’re lucky.
In this era, men are their own downfall. They have turned themselves into disposable water bottles with no value. Women don’t appreciate men at all.

Exactly my feelings going through the whole thing. You captured my exact thoughts!

The real reason. Two dinners, free drinks, a lunch, oh looks, her life is subsidized.
The richest.
Uh huh. Sure. But then she is a 45 single mother.
UH huh. So fat != obese in this world?
I mean, I'm sure it's fine if they're fat, providing you can play their abs like a xylophone. So 3% fat? I'm sure 10%+ is "obese".
There's not a single thing wrong with judging someone on looks. Or judging them for being single mothers. But only one of those is "bad".
So she went on 11 dates in a month and found a new rich guy to pay for her. So three dates a week. And fucking, and got a possible BF.
And women complain Tinder is a meat market that only benefits men who can just choose whoever they want at will.

Look at the left and right swipes difference, 20/80 rule proved right here.

This is a big reason why I left the "dating world". 45, single mom, and she literally has her choice of a plethora of men. I don't want to jump through the hoops of these entitled women, mainly because they simply aren't worth the effort. It doesn't even enrage me anymore.

it's a reminder to us that we still got a lot of "simps" out there. They're still ever-so thirsty for any kind of pussy.

The deeper down the mgtow rabbit hole you go the further you separate yourself from rage.
[–]Maximum_Afternoon4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
She's literally only choosing men 9.5 or better.
And matching over half the time.
Then "I can't find anyone waaaaaa".
Sigh.

They won’t marry her. Women can have all the sex and relationships they want, but they always be ending up in a marriage with a beta provider or some alpha who they turned into a beta that they stop respecting.
The ultimate status symbol is marriage. If she isn’t getting married, then she’s not marriage material and is getting passed around. I ain’t even mad. Community bicycle
