Hi guys,

I find myself at a lonely point in my life, with no signs of the situation changing, and this place seems like the best to reach out. I grew up isolated by my parents (no internet until I was 17) in the US, and taught myself to program when I was 12 by printing off tutorials en-masse from the local public library (there was a limit of 75 pages per day, I regularly maxed it out).

When I was 17, my parents sent me to eastern europe to study & live with my grandmother, breaking off all of my existing friendships in the process. Due to a mildly abusive home environment, I got my first job at 18 and instantly moved out on my own, ditching university.

Since then I've had my own startup (failed), and moved all over Europe from one job to the next. I'm currently 24. Throughout this process, I made a few good friends in various countries who I maintain a connection with, but am overall deeply alone.

I met my first and only girlfriend at 21 (she was 32), and after a year and a half together she broke it off due to falling out of love with me. I suspect she had BPD, as the decision was very sudden and led to her painting me black and cutting off all contact with me instantly. This destroyed me, and sent me into a deep depression which lasted around a year.

I'm now in the best position of my life; I have a great job working from home, making a solid amount of money while still living in an eastern european country (can't beat the taxes and living expenses here), and am leading major projects at my workplace single-handedly with my boss very pleased with my performance.

However, I am extremely lonely and find myself thinking about women/looking for a new gf far too much. I have no friends in my current city, and cannot relate to/connect with anyone in this country (it doesn't help that I'm making literally 15x the local median salary). I've turned myself into an exceptional programmer, but have absolutely nuked my social life by the chain of events that brought me here.

Recently, I made accounts on the popular dating apps (tinder, badoo, OKC) and was approached by a land whale. She was very motivated, and based on her horniness and very forward sexual desires, I thought it would be 'fun', so I agree to meet up with her. That turned out to be a huge mistake; I won't even go into the details, but after sleeping with my fit ex-girlfriend hundreds of times, the fat was just too much to bear. I'd never seen anything like it.

I'm writing this post now looking to connect with some of you guys, and build up a social circle for some bro-companionship, in order to cut the extreme loneliness so I never return to the place where I think it is a good idea to agree to see such a land whale. I want to stay focused on my work and career, but when it is the only thing I have in my daily life it becomes very difficult to stay motivated.

So, hi everyone! Do any of you guys have a mastermind group going? Also, any tips for staying sane when work is all you have, and you can't relate to anyone around you?
