I'm considering this to people who i'm not that close to rather than get into the whole headache it is to explain to people why I'm single. I'm not insecure about being single at all, I just don't understand why people can't understand that relationships aren't for everybody.

I'd rather tell any person who asks that I'm in a relationship and have some sort of stock photo saved on my phone rather than go down that rabbit hole of a conversation. The only people I can't lie to about it is my family because they'd always ask about said stock photo of a woman which would get annoying and exhausting to lie about really quick. The only downside to this is women who asked tat got this answer would want me more and probably try harder to get me. I guess the other downside is people finding out you lied which would be embarrassing but hilariously funny.

Has anyone took this route?
