The female character of charlize theron and the other females in this movie werent really necessary because they made max look stupid and retarded. Maybe that wasnt the directors intention but mr hardy doesent look like the lone avenger he is supposed to be. Take a look at mel gibson and mad max 1 and you will get the idea what mad max should be about.

eh, some good thoughts about some plot holes and bad writing but the rest of this is bullshit. The movie is fine, it's a great action flick and fun to watch. Also, him complaining about mad max as a male risking his life protecting a females(s) as displaying male disposability is fucking stupid. No shit! Have you ever heard of a book, movie, or myth that doesn't have this archetype in it??
