I ask you all for your input.

I’m 35 years old, now single, no kids, a bit of debt, and leaving the military in a year.

I have my BA and MA in History and 8 years of logistic experience at the department head level (head Supply Officer on a ship). I also have the GI bill.

I will move from Norfolk VA back down south.

Any advice how to make the most of my skills? I also sail and build AKs, well read and an interest for financial success.

Initially I am thinking of either property development and speculation or perhaps franchise management.

I want to make money. Happiness I’m sure will come with the sailboat I plan to purchase and the adventures planned.
