I ended up going to a counselor alone because any time the counselor even hinted that my ex-wife might be at fault she threw a tantrum. Like my 3 year old daughter when I won't give her chocolate milk. Exactly the same. My Point though: My counselor (just me at this point) told me to get divorced to save myself. Ex pulled the trigger first but it was actually good advice none-the-less.

We went to counseling and all my wife expected was that I should change myself for her enjoyment. Since the counselor was a women psychologist I easily got her to believe that all my problems came from me working too much and having too much stress. Well, the logical consequence was that she began to ask my wife what she could change with herself that would improve our situation. It was her turn to put something into the equation. Counseling was declared successfull and finished right after that by her. As if I was so stupid that I couldn't see what was happening. Totally pathetic!

Bro Im right with you. I am 36 almost 37, yet to meet one that isn't "difficult" even mom...actually think I'd see my stepdad more if they split lol
