Not enough is being done by society to warn men what it is like after marriage. Society loves to tell the stories of men who take advantage of women and cheat on them, abuse them, etc. Men grow up believing that their kind are horrible, but not them, they are one of the good ones. So they will go out of their way to prove they are one of the good ones thru all of the unjust men in the world and they will not even consider that women can be evil too, that if they don't protect themselves they too can be hurt by women.

I speak from experience. I am married. Although I have married a foreign woman and I believe it is not as bad, I now see the horrer of marriage to men. I have decided that I cannot do anything about it now without losing three quarters of my stuff and my kids, so I stay married. But if I were to ever divorce, I would never remarry.

(I am sure I will get negged for the preceding paragrah).

Let me serve as a warning. It is important for all of you to spread the word before any marriage decisions are made by your friends and family.

BTW, you don't see me acting like the husbands you have described, but I get what you are saying. I see it too.

Finally the biggest and evident thing I see, is they are become convinced to partake in keeping up with the Jones. All the men, who care little for their clothes or the car they drive spend a FORTUNE on housing as a status item
