Actually it is 3 to 4 times the rate of women (married or not).

We are told women are the more emotional gender, which isn't true. Granted, they are still generally less intelligent, and less logical, but not more emotional than men.

Men too have emotions, and with society forcing us to suppress those emotions through ridicule when we show them, we get the resultant suicide statistics.

It's because often times death is less harsh than divorce for men. Remove the cash and prizes women receive from divorce and you'll prevent most of these suicides.

Probably because Men have more stress having to provide, protect, and make decisions. Men..married especially feel trapped and unloved. Their whole existence is to give their time and life to an ungrateful family or friends. society has no love for men or their worth. Men have far too many expectations to meet to be accepted or feel a sense of worth.

No suprise there. While I was married, I considered suicide because of all the emotional bs and drama I had to deal with on a daily basis. It was relentless.

Women are like vampires. They suck the life out of you.
