I like Hendrick's, no fruit, veggies or vermouth.

Uncle Val's Botanical is another I enjoy for something different.

I keep my gin in the freezer, this way I don't have to dilute with ice to chill.

This was actually written last night.

I am making chili tonight, so naturally I stop off to have cocktail hour martinis, as you do. It’s an apéritif after all. Well for me it is. Lacking the vermouth.

Every tv at the bar is showing some women’s sports.

There’s some women’s track and field thing, and in front of me is a Big 10 Women’s Championship game.

Basketball if you don’t know that. And it is horrible.

A little about me, I played basketball myself before dedicating my life to full time shit posting, and man this game is sad. At first I thought this was a local high school game. Double dribbling, traveling, balls bouncing off shoes, no fast break. I’m pretty sure the ref isn’t calling shit just so the game ends earlier.

The stands are empty. The refs only move at a slow jog. I’ve seen children play better. The most exciting thing that happened while typing this is a three point shot from the top of the key. It was nothing but net, but I’ve been typing this on my phone for ten minutes, and that’s the best there’s been.

It’s like they’re playing HORSE out there in a spectacularly boring way.

And they think they should get multi-million dollar paychecks one day comparable to LeBron? I know this isn’t pro sports but come on...
