So was having a conversation today with a coworker, trumps welfare changes are about to hit and we got on the topic of how to fix the welfare system ect. ect.

part of my question is even if we could get all the leeches actually "earning" their hand out i was curious with the modernization of many industry aka automation

if for some reason every one in america actually tried to earn their keep, would there even be enough jobs? (i know this is highly unrealistic but just a thought/what if type thing)

idk if the rest of yall think this is an appropriate topic here but least in my opinion some of the most damaging laws/policies and programs for at least america has been a wombo combo of the welfare system and the war on drugs.
