Well, from the perspective of a Muslim MGTOW, I find that a bit questionable. The problem with Islam is that it does not confront gynocentrism on its face, it doesn't expose female nature for what it is. There might be commandments giving males rights over the female in several aspects but without MGTOW understanding those laws are limited in limiting gynocentrism. Yes, the wife have to obey me or worst comes to worst I'll hit her, but what if I'm so cucked that my idea of a relationship is simping for her, then the commandment does not do what some MGTOWs might think it does. Also, in Islam, divorce involves the ex-husband paying MAINTAINENCE. It's not sleep in your car bad, no not at all, but it's bad bad. My understanding is that since women today, even in Islamic countries, outshine men in education and the workplace, I'm supposed to pay negative maintainence, in other words if we divorce I get money from her but this is not the understanding of mainstream Islam. In Islam women get custody of the child. Islamic countries have divorce rates equal to that in the West, Afghanistan in particular has a 90% divorce rate which is far higher than the Western and global average of 50%.

As a general note I find that all religions I've looked into are gynocentric, it might contain some nuggets of truth about female nature, but it's ultimately gynocentric. Be it Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, or Islam or other
