Went to BMT & ended up having a female MTI (40ish yrs old) she was a Master Sergeant (E7). Towards the end she opened up a little bit about her personal life. She basically said that she had no husband and no children because she chose the AF instead then it looked like she was about to cry and the dayroom went silent for about 10 seconds, which was pretty awkward. Although she was an excellent, fair, & strict MTI I believe she regretted her decision on choosing the AF over family life. Feminism teaches (tricks) women they can have it all which isn't true but unfortunately for them they don't realise that until their biological clock has stopped ticking and it's too late. I feel sympathy sometimes then I remind myself we all make decisions in life and are held accountable for those decisions whether we like the outcome or not.
