Inteligence could be seen as survive with the lowest input on work.

So the people which figured out to grow food don`t had to run through their world and had more time to do things like carving, singing and other cultural things.

If I found a way to reproduce without the necessarity of work I would be seen as antisocial guy mostly but in the definition of my ancestors from 10.000 BC I would be seen as very inteligent.

So maybe but only maybe some people are only doing the right playtrough for this capitalistic enviroment and could be inteligent in a special way.

Its doesn t give an edge to individuals it gives an edge to the group. The group with intelligent people will manage better but the the intelligent people in that groupe will be the one on average that manage the worst

There's a biologist who gave an interview with Joe Rogan on his podcast. Or at least some sort of academic.

At one point he said that either himself or a friend of his, who upon realizing how the game is played, although he meant in a biological sense, not dealing with malevolence in the opposite, would make the decision that they didn't want to play the game anymore. in other words once you realize what it really is all about it really doesn't seem to be worth it.

Most of what makes us miserable as men is attempting to fulfill our biological programming and yet being unable to, and it makes us miserable.

The same is true for women.

We have a biological programming that originates in our genes, which has been passed down to us from our ancestors, with some far more ancient than others going back hundreds of millions and I suppose at the simplest level, a billion years. You would be pretty miserable if you didn't eat in about, a month. Many people today are depressed and have anxiety and other issues related to failure to bond and form effective social groups that were important throughout human it and earlier primate evolutionary history. we seem to lack purpose these days because life is nothing more than a series of tasks and consumption, we no longer do things that benefit our groups.

with the current state of our society designed it seems to make us unhappy, why would you want to participate? Perhaps the intelligent choice is simply to opt-out and decease the perpetuation of misery?

So far there has been a natural evolution, in some ways perhaps involuntary and unforeseen.

In nature there are those who have strength who agility, there are those who have sharp claws and teeth and those who have fast legs, but when a species has specialized too much in its strength, it has sometimes become extinct for "too successful", but the strength of humans was the brain, the ability to adapt, find solutions, and to know how to do it collectively, and specializing the brain made it more complex and humans, while becoming weaker physically than their ancestors, became at the same time stronger.

In a melee a human of a few millennia ago would tear us to pieces, but our specialization has allowed us to have weapons capable of winning without problems, but it does not end there, medicine electronic technology building construction and many other things, a Specialized brains don't stop at building better "clubs or arrowheads", but are capable of thinking about reaching the Moon and beyond.

The current state of "crazy times" is nothing new, this is neither the first nor the last earthly civilization, everything has a beginning and an end or a transformation, intelligence now seems small, but it is the the only trait that makes the human animal different from other animals, and in the case of a future "bottleneck" that I hope not to see or live, will be the distinctive trait that will divide the survivors from the dead.

In any case, future humans will be much less "natural", and unless extinct, the second phase of evolution will lead to a type of human being so different from us that it seems alien to us, both as a physical aspect and as ideas, ideal expectations.
