Women are women because they're the product of millions of years of selection and biology. Sure, some will display more or less of a specific trait. Not all women cheat, though most do given the right circumstances. Not all women lie, though most do given the right circumstances.

This 21 year-old might seem innocent but just wait until she hits her mid-late 20s and the maternal instincts ramp up.

And let's say not. Let's say that out there is some perfect girl - 100% loyal, 100% sweet, 100% nag-free, and who will be a true asset and make your life better than it would be without her.

Certainly, you are right AWALT, is shorthand for, so many are like that, that it is a bad proposition to try to tell the one who aren't from the ones who are very good chameleons. While the stats you quote are very good on paper, and hell, it may be true that she is not like that, but you have no idea what she will be in a week, a month, a year, 10 years, etc. Even if she isn't like that now, she has potential to be at any point in her life.

It's like this. You carefully load the cylinder of a Lemat revolver (a 9 shot black powder revolver from around the time of the American Civil War. You then hand the pistol to someone, who turns their back to you and then drips oil into 4 chambers, and pulls the bullet and charge out of another, then applies grease to all of the chamber mouths. He spins the cylinder, and hands it back to you. you have no idea which chamber is which.. you take it home and let it sit barrel up overnight, the following morning you put the gun to your temple and pull the trigger. You may get the empty chamber, and be ok. You may bet one of the 4 that were not tampered with and be dead. You you may get one of the 4 that got oil into them, and it may go off immediately, it may not go off at all, or it may hang fire. If it's a hang fire, you'll have about enough time to wipe the sweat off your forehead and feel relief, before full ignition occurs and you are just as dead as if it went off immediately.

This is AWALT. No doubt there are empty chambers out there, but they are vanishingly rare, often times in life there is no grease obscuring the really bad ones, and you know to avoid them. That last group though, they look so much like an empty that you can't tell. You bet your future on her, nothing happens when you pull that trigger, then 6mo - 100 years after marriage she goes off and destroys you.

That's the best analogy I have for it, but the flaw to it is that it doesn't account for fiddling about with the chambers in play.
That is what things like feminism do. She may start off as NAWALT, but over time these external influences can turn her AWALT. Essentially a hang fire situation.

Your choice what you believe about this one or the next hundred you meet. A lot of guys came before you. Smarter guys. Smarter than either of us, and fell into the trap of NAWALT. I hope that you don't add yourself to that list, but at least you have the benefit of knowledge of AWALT.
