I recently caught my brother using my father Debit card to pay for online games. Till now he has used nearly ₹10000 (might not seem much but huge, but it is for middle class Indian family) on coins without the knowledge of my father. The first person I informed about this matter to my mother. She did scold my brother a bit, but warned about speaking this matter to my father. My mother believes that my father deserves losing his money he constantly helps others. I don't know if my brother would really stop because he has been doing the purchase frequently for 4 months. To me it doesn't matter if the amount is huge or not but my father should know about who is using the money.

Should I tell my father and cause potential enmity with my mother or I keep my mouth shut.
