Hey guys,

I have a problem, a simple one, but i need some advice, or any tought about it so i can add to my own thinking.

Sorry if its long, but need to get out of my mind. I had a shitty day today.

Thank for you help.

EDIT 1 :

Hey guys,
Some news : my letter was recieved by my boss. He doesnt care at all, and so, said to my supervisor to do whatever he want and that he should take responsability for anything related.
I had a talk with him today. He said in large that he dont want to take responsability for this. That he has to manage others workers to make a monthly planning that is ok for everyone and that he has enough things to do than that.
That if they had accepted my coworker courses, its was only because we needed someone at the time and he is worried about the possibility that my coworker will leave while he engaged himself to not put me working the days i need to go to school. (my coworker end his course this summer and i planned to start mine right after him, so there is a risk he will leave in between, leaving us in a bad situation, especially with my course).
Positive side : he said that he need more data about when are the days there is school, and some minor things about that, and that we should have anther convo about this, with more clear view of everything, coworker included.
He seems to not want to put sticks in the wheel, but will not make any form of contract with me, he will not "protect my ass" and wont take any responsability whatsoever. I take all risk but he will not make it harder for me apparently.

So, in clear : i can go and start this school. If possible he will not put me the days i need free, but he will also put me sometimes those days, so no coworker say anything about me having a special treatment. and so its me who have to ask my coworker to move days betweeen us if needed.
I'm waiting on the school to give me some info about the days.
I still dont know what to think about all this, i'm little depressed starting last week and i cant focus those days. I'm stuck in my mind, but in the same time i think i wont have a better deal and so i should take this like that, take the risk like a man and try to make my best to go as much as possible courses every week.

In the same time, i cant understand that after 4 years, being the last veteran guys here, i can get any support for 2 evenings classes per week. My coworker can not work 2 full days per week and its ok from start, but me, asking for 2 half day per week, its too much. Thats... depressing.

STORY :

I work in a shitty job (cant give more info about my job).

4 years i do it after 1.5 years of unemployment because of feminist/leftist have me been fired.

Part time job with irregular hours, but it paid somewhat well, 21/h and i dont do much, nothing physical and not much customers.

Its a no stress job, but its not a job made to live, nor something i can be proud of. It paid the bills and i can put in the side but it all.

I'm likely to have a mental breakdown because i dont have anything to do in my work, and even bringing stuff to do (books, games or even IT projects or whatever i totally dont have the right to bring) wont prevent me of being bored.

I'm bored to death in this job. To be honest, that been 2 years i play games or do my own business, and nobody ever talked about it to my boss... (because i do my work first i suppose).

I just put my ass and wait.

That not really true because i do the job my coworker dont do. But even with that, i'm bored to death.

I have one chief on site half the week, and another who is in charge of all other places.

Say one is my supervisor and the other is the manager, and also a tyrannic boss who yell nearly everytime unless its a "good day". Its also a family member of my supervisor.

Year ago i looked up to evolve from where i'm in my professionnal life, because it has been some time, the ride was fun, but i need to go one day or another.

Have worked on construction from 17y old, as well as desk jobs.

I'm an hard worker and thought of taking adventage of my part time work to study and find a new job at the end, leaving this shithole of a job.

So i thought about studing to become an IT worker (because i always were happy with computers and have some experience in it and always tought that i couldnt work in that field and that i maybe should launch myself in this field for good).

I found a 2 years study, mainly in infrastructure field, with a certificate made for work (so in the end a business is likely to take me).

So, i planned to ask my big boss (the big manager) to have the 2-3 days evenings per week free to go to class (before signing contract with the school).

Plain and simple, just asking i dont work 2-3 days evenings per week because of class, and could work any other day like normal.

Before sending to the big boss, i asked before to my supervisor, the guy who hired me, to see if he would give me a helping hand (after all i've done for him and for the work) so the letter get like a cutter in butter.

So the thing i wanted is to add to the letter is a sentence like "Mr. X the supervisor has nothing against the fact i have a planing agreement". Stating he support my choice and support me in the end.

In my mind, it was so the big boss say "Hell, if he dosent mind, go for it, i dont care."

Because my supervisor make the planning and send it to the manager who approve (everytime) it.

So in the end the only one who have shit to do about it is my supervisor.

Four years that i serve at my best, 1-2 times came to work late or miss opening hour in four years... done everything, came in my free time out of emergency, done every crap things in there, train every new guys, well, they can count on me for everything. Never asked anything and even took 2x less holidays than any others coworkers.

And you know what ? MY supervisor say to me this afternoon after reading my email : "well, you know how he will mostly take this. And there is also the other coworker who already have an agreement. Oh you know he will see you as a guy studying during work and leaving after... so good luck." (In short).

So in his mind, i'm a guy who come to work to get his check, dont do shit, and should get a white hand from him because i'm like any other coworker who mostly work here 1 year and get out after his study is done.

You know i give this guy christmas and birthday gift because i though i oww him having this job and somwhat "appreciate" him ?...

That was i though will happen, sadly. But that drove me mad in a way.

I do shit everyday for 4 years, and they always complain "we dont do shit" while in the same time they remove us tools and work to do...

My new coworker have an agreemnt from day one for study, and the guy who hire me and know me cant support my demand after four years of loyal services.

So finally, going to the core of the problem :

I have sended the letter whitout the specified phrase to the manager.

Simply stating i want to attend study, class happen 2-3 time per week and would like to be free to get to class.

That i worked for 4 years and will stay and work any other time needed for work, just that i need those days free and i be grateful he accept this.

Monday the letter should get into my big yelling boss, so i wait until he give me an answer until deciding of next move.

But, my problem is simple :

If i recieve a "Ok" i have no problem at all, as you would have understand, my goal is to continue working, studying and change job in 2 years (300% profit, 100 profit working, 100% profit studying, 100% profit putting money on the side) so there will be no problem at all.

BUT, if i recieve a "no" wich is a 50/50 chance, i can :

- Either stay, and get more money and wait it close (because i will within 2 years nearly sure because of lack of customers and district transformation), and start class when i'm 32y, stacking money in between.

- Either i put a resign, 2 month before class start, fight with employment welfare because i resign myself and they will punish me and find ways to sort things wich will be difficult.

- Either i make everything possible to get fired (with the help of my boss (good) or truly making it impossible for them to not fire me (bad) so i can get employment welfare and start class with some piece of mind.

Dont take me wrong, i dont want to get on welfare. I hate this, truly. Have got 1.5 years on welfare, i cant stand social worker, nor welfare.

I prefer this job than being unemployed as it was really a chance for me after a year of unemployment to have this job... But....

But in the same time, its like a golden jail -> Leave, you lose everything. Stay, you're dying in little fire.

So, the big question : what would you do in this kind of situation ?

Would you rather resign and deal with all the crap of welfare saying you shouldnt had made this ? Loosing all 10k emergency money in the process ?

Or stay, even dying inside with a crappy job that will inevitably close and will fire/wathever you because it cant coninue like this for 10 years ?

My MGTOW mindset tell me to take my balls, resign 2 month before class start, use my emergency money to pay class and find whatever job, but in the same time, its that golden jail dilemma : staying, no stress, take money, and stop caring.

So, thank for your help...

(Sorry for the writing, the beer dont help).
