Found this in a comments section, I almost fuckin yacked. Hard to feel bad for the guy after acting like such a simp.

"So six or seven months ago I was going through a lot of shit family and friend wise, plus my fiance and I were fighting a lot. One night I got very drunk and we got into a huge argument and I ended up throwing my engagement ring in a lake and took off to stay at a friends house. We made up the following day and he's never brought it up to me aside from saying he wasn't paying for another one so I could throw that one away too. We never talked about it again and everything about the wedding just went on hold. My friends and family didn't really notice because the ring needed to be resized so I was wearing it on a chain on my neck instead of on my finger.

We're just casually sitting on the couch today and he said "hey" and I looked over and he was holding the ring. Apparently he had spent the whole night looking for it and managed to find it because my drunken throw was not very good. He's had it this whole time just waiting for me to not be a lunatic emotional mess to give it back to me. I'm really amazed by the fact that a. he's still down to wife this hot mess, and b. he never once made me feel bad about it or threw it in my face. It was like getting proposed to twice and honestly I've never felt more loved for exactly who I am as a person."
