I know a mutual associate has been having some tough times lately but just got to hear the full gory details. He's in his mid 30s, works in IT and decided to try and help a women (from East Asia) seek residency by getting into a relationship with her so she could gain residency.

Result: found out she lied about her age - is actually 47, also has children and then she fakes a domestic violence incident, he goes to court but gets off. He then spends $1,000's in legal fees on trying to get her residency application overturned but his application to the court is denied and she successfully gains residency.

I have another associate who married a chick from Thailand and then broke up who is making an application for residency.

Will they ever learn?
