Hello, I was adventuring the vast universe that is the Internet when I stumbled upon this fascinating sub. A little background info, i've been pretty much single my entire life, a couple girlfriends but nothing I could keep for longer than a few weeks. (personality: INTP, most girls I'm to insecure to approach and other's I just can't connect with) Right now I'm 27 and I feel like I'm missing out on the having a wife and having children stage of my life. I didn't get the chance to go to college because I joined the military out of high school thinking it would help me on the right track (it didn't, took me down a dark one filled with depression and alcohol abuse). Now I work for a grocery company and I live with another INTP single straight male the last few years. Quit drinking, and switched to the good ol' mary jane. So I'm in a good spot now. Problem is I still feel like I should search for someone, even though she would probably destroy my entire state of living. Even though I enjoy all of my free time to myself, I still feel a little depressed like I'm missing something. How do you guys cope with this feeling.

Sorry for the long message. I don't talk on social forums very often.
