I went with a Viking. I dig it so far. Change the blade every Sunday and it was $15 for a years worth at that rate.

Stop paying into these companies and go old fashioned. Get a safety razor a brush and some quality soap. You can buy 100 blades for this razor for $5-10. It’s simple and it’s all we really need. Plus you get a very close, clean shave.

A $100ish dollar (100-200 range) straight razor. Last razor you’ll ever buy, and the best shave you’ll ever have.

Start with a safety razor if you’re a bit worried about slicing off your face, but I can’t recommend straight razors enough.

I also quit Gillette.

I bought a Viking safety razor and use Feather blades. I like the Feather blades the best of what I’ve tried.

There are blade sample packs on Amazon, where you get something like 10 blades of 10 different brands, and can see what your face likes the best.

I got quite a few nicks with the Viking blades that came with the razor, though maybe it was just my technique. It took me about a month to learn my face and shave well with minimal cuts
