I understand the problem. If I didn't, I would not be on this subreddit. However, we have to look at things the rational way. The truth is that there were a wide variety of people helping out during the hurricane.
Also, while I understand that white men have contributed a significant amount of inventions in the past 500 years. Different civilizations that were not European or white have contributed essential things for human survival for thousands of years. Without these inventions, white men would not have been able to contribute anything.
If we don't look at things from a rational and non emotional point of view, we are not any better than those we condemn.

Well, I guess we will start with the basics. Without agriculture, which was invented in the middle east, we would have literally nothing. Everything you see around you would no longer be possible. But I guess we could continue: math, religion, irrigation, novels, paper, ink, music, gunpowder, guns, bombs, time bombs, compass, CD players, batteries, yoga, calculators, tea, noodles, shampoo, karoke, money, and the list goes on. Even Christianity, the religion practiced by most of the Western world came from the Middle East.
The truth is that western civilization only recently emerged as a dominant power and that had more to do with luck and geography than anything else. After a while, the center of civilization will shift somewhere else. That is just how the world works. This isn't some SJW bullshit, this is just the rational truth.

It is also where agriculture was invented.
The civilization who is dominant changes over time. For a period, it was the Middle Eastern civilization. In another period, it was the Chinese civilization. In another period, it was the Indian civilization.
