Still fairly new to this sub (had a post about being new roughly a week ago), and I've noticed talk of Chad. I'm very familiar with the concept thanks to personal experience and laugh every time I read a post referring to someone that way.

In the Army we have Jody and from what I can tell they are the same person. Except Jody tends to hunt around deployed Soldiers.

I was wondering if there is any other difference that may exist besides the military and civilian split.
