Hi MGTOW, I would like to share with you my story to the redpill, and how I now visualize life and women.
When I was growing up as kid, shit was absolutely perfect in my life. My dad a successful architect, and my mom a good care giver. We lived I would say the average life of a typical american household. It worked out all fine and dandy until my dad got laid off due to 2008 crash. We lost the house and had to downsize severally.
As a kid, I had no idea at the time what was really going down and I had no real clue as to why my parents all the sudden didn't click. My dad, a very hardworking individual and a man of few words, all the sudden became the emotional monster. As a young man, my masculinity was still very impressionable, and I wasn't getting my fill from him anymore. Why? Well, my mom began to demonize my dad. Slander him, turn all the kids agaisnt him, including myself. At the time I sided with her, she had the more convincing arguement and made him seem like a real POS. At the time, I didn't know the truth of why she did this. I was a impressionable boy. All I knew was that mom gave me the attenition I needed and dad was always way to busy to give a damn. So as time goes on, mom still hated dad. My dad attempted to fix the problem with my mom. However, all his attempts were failing, to the point he was pandering to rebuild the broken relationship. This rubbed off on me, the kind of emotional pandering to women. Because my dad was the only real male figure I had in my life. So I naturally followed suit, and whatever my mom wanted me to do, I did it.. Well needless to say, I became, in my own words, a pussie. Life and women became this ever increasily difficult thing.
I became a depressed wierd kid in highschool, I couldn't figure out what the fuck was wrong with me. I began to take SSRRIs to combat my emotional funk. Well ofcourse this didn't solve anything, and I eventually brought myself to leave the house as soon as possible, so I ended up in the military. Away from mom and away from my dad I thought I would be just fine on my own. But, I wasn't. Something still bothered the fuck out of me, and I felt broken. So along comes this girl I meet, and we get along real good. It was like this for a little while until, she left. Yup. I broke down emotionally in front of her and then, poof. She had left me, like how my mom left my dad. My mind wandered for a bit, I thought of every concviable thing I did wrong to her. How I could improve myself how I could do better.. Then it clicked.
I was useless to her. I couldn't produce anything to make her stay around. Forget the moments we bonded togther, that meant nothing to her. It's all about the here and the now. I was furious when I made these connections. How could any human be so fucking shallow? Then I thought about my dad. And for the first time in my life, I felt guinely for him.
The things my mom said about my dad were never true. It was all a lie, and my dad was simply out of a job. All the emotional turmoil was because of a fucking JOB. He couldn't produce and so she left, emotionally and physically.
I am 21 now, and still learning the ropes of what it means to be a man. However I am confident in saying I felt real pissed off, and also real relieved now. My dad and I have a fantastic relationship now. I don't blame him for shit. Because all along he was just trying to keep what he loved(my mom and us) even if that meant working to death.
Thanks for reading.
