Some time ago I made a post here, where someone told me I was playing with fire, dating several young girls. As the thrillseeker I have always been, I didn't see the problem in this - knowing the dangers and playing against the odds is a part of what makes me me.

Sometimes playing with fire can be an interesting game to play. Not so much from the sexual experiences that have been.. well, just that, but more so from the reactions of society when a 30+ man with a solid income, good looks and stable background simply refuses to settle down - despite having many suitable mates around. I am now facing the "you should grow up", "act your age?", "stop going for the young girls"-theme that has been mentioned so much in here.

Seeing how friends and acquaintances scoff at me for actively avoiding girls that are older than 25, the different mindset that I have contra theirs is staggering.

One even tried to hook me up with a 30-something single mother, and got mad when I said something along the lines of "I will not take care of another man's spawn, more than my taxes already do".

Now, on the other hand, I have also realized that the plate spinning, dating crap is simply too much work for me. It takes away so much free time to stay updated on social norms, trends etc - especially to keep in touch with the 19-21 year olds.

I think I'm done, and ready to focus on my other hobbies again.
