Oh no, I think this is real. I don't know if it's the same guy but I heard about this a while back. There is a guy who was a moderator for a woman's Twitch. He supported her i.e. gave her money for quite some time. He's a Blue Pill idiot. She got along with him fine and even told him he was cute. Him, seeing nothing but positive reactions from her as well as a compliment, thought it meant she liked him. He then tries to go to some con and have a date with her. The generic romantic shit. She reveals that she has a husband the entire time. He loses it. Rants at her, points out how he supported her stream over another woman's, and how he will no longer mod her stream.

Now, what do we see here? The Blue Pill romantic in action. We, including myself, have been there. You find yourself attracted to a girl. Ignorant of how things work, you start doing her favors. The intent is that maybe she'll end up with you. You help her out because you like how she looks. How she smiles. Even the sound of her voice. But ultimately your efforts are for naught. Yes, you did give her special treatment because you desired her. You gave her special treatment because just interacting with her made you feel good. This guy however invested way too much in this girl. He wanted to show her how much she meant to him. So he heavily invested in her far more than I have ever done for a female. I've done minor things but nothing like this.

This guy was madly in love with this girl. That's why he did this. Now, I don't know if this is the same guy I read about, but it might be him.
