There’s a misunderstanding here... I met her in Xmas 2011, she moved into my place during summer 2012 taking gmat 3 times, passing 3 series ## financial exams, and CFA level 1 in-between. I’m like: Ok great, this will work we make a decent team we are both corporate go-getters, etc. I don’t ask much, just chip in $1000 a month for overhead.

Well she then tries and fails the CFP that winter, and CFAII in Summer 2013, 2014, and again in 2015. I basically have to do everything around the house (laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc) and she turns into a raging bitch for the last 2-3 months of study. So after she failed the second time in summer of 2014 I told her her behavior was jeopardizing the relationship and asked her to take a break and support me because I was heading into an intensive contract. She agreed and we got engaged around Christmas 2014 and things looked up. I even sold my townhome and rented a place near the city so we could do more things together (more on this later)

Well a bitch can’t let a good thing work so she decides to register for level 2 a third time and doesn’t tell me. She promises to keep up her end around the house but the relationship implodes. I’m working 70 hours a week and she’s got no time, has an ulcer, is freaking out a few times a week, etc. she wouldn’t listen to reason and stop so I decided I was going to end the relationship after she was done and we could go out seperate ways.

But between the test being done and her finding out she failed two months later I lost my contract and was out of work and she snapped back to being sweet so I held back on breaking up. When she found out she failed she caused a major fight and that evening is when she came at me with the knife and broke my foot. By that weekend she was moved out.

She came clean and told me the moving to the city was so she could be a whore and have affairs easier and that this whole committed relationship was really cramping her style and getting in the way of her sexual ‘release’ which was to blame for her failures. She told me she was out fucking ransoms guys left and right while she was out studying (I was bothering her at home so she couldn’t study there see) and would pick fights so she could have an excuse to get a hotel room at night and have random sex and orgies and hookups and whatever. Total fucking psychopath man. Devastating. I still had a lot of savings so it wasn’t a big deal financially at the time but in hindsight it was. She just blew through my life and sucked four years away from me and multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars beyond what I would have spent on myself had she not been with me.

I waited a year and tried dating again but those experiences cemented it for me. Been in monk mode for the last 2 years.
