"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15, KJV)

In this verse God is speaking directly to the serpent within us.

The eating of satans apple rooted his evil directly within our bodies and our minds.

Did God not know this would happen?

Eve's rebellion against God was present before she and Adam were cast out of Eden and Adams subservience to Woman was also present.

"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." (Genesis 3:16, KJV)

"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life." (Genesis 3:17, KJV)

So this was Gods plan all along?

Possibly, here God is laying out the natural order of things.

God > Man > Woman > Children

He also sets into motion the cycle of creation and destruction, birth and death.

This cycle takes man through countless deaths and countless births, countless creations and countless destruction.

All this to show man the error of his ways.

Unfortunately we are in a time were the natural order has changed.

Much evil befouls the world and it's influence is not to be taken lightly.

As it was in the beginning Woman is the first to become corrupted for her serpent lies in her mind, she defies the word of God to give birth and instead kills the child before it is even born. She rules over Man as his lust for her has made him weak, as his serpent dwells in his body.

Both have forgotten God and in place adopted false religion.

This is the enmity that God spoke of, the battle between good and evil within ourselves.

Only if we reclaim our bodies and our minds as our own can we be saved and again have eternal life through Christ.
