I may be wrong but I think it's younger guys, or maybe guys with less female experience that like them. I'm not judging, just from my circle of males my age, I don't think we'd go that far. Cleaning them is a bitch I hear, even my fleahlight annoys me sometimes. In my 40's I find some good old fashion porn is enough to clear my head every few days, then I don't even think about women. I don't think they'll take off at all inside of the next several hundred years at which point they are indistinguishable from humans.

Currently the cost is astronomical for something that is essentially a flesh light connected to a Siri iPhone. I can buy either of those things already. No wait, I can for free use appendages that can adequately do the job for free, so much so that if I want something different I can switch hands.

And for me to give those up I need to spend $15,000? To jack off? And as it is currently I can just throw some kleenex in the trash, or just finish a shower, and I don't have to take apart a flesh like body and put it's vagina in a dishwasher. Then reassemble it, download daily adobe updates or whatever, and then get about my day.

I see no outcome that someone wants to pay for that, unless it's ironic. I mean, I get the idea, but other than something vibrating and moving like a lego creature, I don't see it being of any actual value compared to a hand and an imagination. Hell they even let you take that stuff to jail if you're so inclined.

I could vaguely see a niche of sex doll related VR porn, where you sync your doll with a VR device, that could give you a realistic feedback of something that doesn't do anything, but, again, imagination and porn is free.

It would probably be like curved HD TVs and 3D TVs. I don't know any one that has one that isn't being paid to have one like a hollywood actor. It just isn't worth the investment.

At least not to me.
