rape double standards

Let me go on the record to say that this doesn't look like it was written by a woman. Or if it was written by a woman, it didn't actually happen to her.

It isn't because a woman wouldn't honestly break up with her boyfriend because he was raped. Knowing women like we do, this is exactly the sort of reaction we would expect.

But the reason I don't think this was written by a woman is that a woman would find a way to blame the breakup on him, especially on a confessional subreddit like r/AmItheAsshole.

Women don't go to r/AmItheAsshole to demonstrate why they are an asshole. They go there to portray the man as the asshole.

And the problem with that post is that it makes her out to be the asshole, making me think there's something not quite right about its authenticity.

Use your heads, gentlemen. Apply what you know about women, and you'll reach the same conclusion.

No woman who loses feelings for a man will describe him as "tall, muscular" or "dominant" or "very smart, funny, yadda yadda."

She will say something like "people say he's a real catch, but they don't know him like I do." She will say "if you know him like I do, you will see he's a childish, manipulative, immature loser."

No woman who holds her man in contempt will say "our sex life is good." She will say that her life has been "a constant nightmare" that she was "too blind to see."

No woman will admit that she abandons people in their time of need, like this alleged woman does. She will say something like "I tried to help him through it, but his childish immaturity pushed me away." Wouldn't she?

A woman in this position would never admit that the rape "completely shattered" her image of him. It might be true, but she'd never admit it. That would make her responsible for doing something wrong (which no woman would ever do).

Instead of the rape causing her abandonment of him, she would say something like it was his neediness and childishness that caused her image of him to be "completely shattered." Again gentlemen, use your head. Women don't accept responsibility this kind of thing. They find a way to blame the man.

I took a lot of heat when I made these observations the first time around when this post got linked here. MGTOW are so quick to believe this sort of story because it happens so often. But women just don't talk this way when something like this happens. They are far more dramatic, far more smarmy, and far more accusatory.

Now I have a suspicion why somebody would make this story up and present it like this. If anybody is interested here, I'll explain my suspicions.

But if I was a gambling man, I'd bet that this is a hoax of some kind. I know female rhetoric too well to think it is legit.

Nice compassion and empathy she has there for him. I'm sure glad as men it's always safe for us to talk openly about our feelings. Nope, no danger in there with that one. Nope.
