Even if this weren't the case and the word 'actress' didn't exist and just everybody were called 'actors' whatever their sex. What's the problem with being more men actors than female actors in a google search? That would only mean that there are more male actors than female actors. It would not be a conspirancy, it would be just a fact.

Women are trying their best to be inserted into male title roles.

Actor, historically and commonly speaking refers to a man. A dedicated man to his craft.

Actress, has always been the woman who got all three holes banged out on a casting couch. Or she screws the play director for the female lead role.

Women know this. Women in acting know this. This is why they want to be actors now.

Ditto with comedian and comedienne.

The former is funny and male.

The latter is neither one.

But even still, females who do their type of comedy, want to be titled as comedians.

Source: dated a Equity card holding, advanced degreed theatre major actress for a few months who wouldn't stop talking about this nonsense. I dumped her.
