It is a false comparison to compare past times to now. Life used to be harsh and women were desperate not to be left to fend for themselves and their child(ren) against nature and wild animals. There was a time when all men and women were concerned with living one more day and this nonsense about likes on social media would never have been considered a possible reality.

-- Some men just aren't interested in being "trapped" and are smart/wise enough to avoid it.

-- So what is different now?

Post industrial revolution, a combination of modern technology & affluence have enabled the system to become heavily biased in favor of women -- not only allowing them to create the "trap" for men, but to EXIT the trap themselves with cash & prized -- via the STATE, to glom onto essentially all of his assets (the fruit of his labor), to take control of his children (essentially holding them for ransom, using them as weapons against him).

THAT part is (relatively) "new."

I get why women trap men, but men have been bullshitted by the upper classes to hook up with women and marry them, and take care of them, as if they are nobility.

Upper classes get married for political reasons. Lower classes get married to pretend to be upper class.

it's the same reason the lower class has libraries of unread books and dogs. Trying to emulate the upper classes.

Women, wanting ATM machines, feed into this and became a marketing demographic. Men, who used to have brothels and whore houses, never needed that shit, but 150 years ago they decided to be all puritan with the evangelical religious movements of the time that brought about the Victorian era marriage nonsense, which never used to exist.

True but we can wake up and change the script for our own benefit. As human beings, we're due to survive but if we have a chance to lose too many resources from trying pass on our genes, does it seem worth it? Sure it has been like this for millennia but there were times during it like Rome where there was rampant feminism and gynocentrism. That society failed. Even then there were men like the Buddha who went their own way because all that jazz of succeeding monetarily and acquiring resources was a sad life to live because you weren't living life. You were being a machine, men like him saw that and decided it was better to live a life without attaching yourself to roles and living to live, to survive yes but living a life of happiness and no suffering to survive. As sadness can cause suffering in our lives and make surviving difficult or even cause an end to it.

This is a recurring theme in the work of Stardusk/ThinkingApe and Barbarosssa.
Humans are gynocentric. Traditionalism was more balanced but still gynocentric. Karen Straughan has made excellent videos showing how gynocentric Islamic "patriarchal" societies are. Feminism is gynocentric, to the point of being a supremacist movement.

So there you go. The problem isn't feminism, it isn't even women. It is the gynocentric nature of both men and women.

MGTOW will only ever catch on to a certain extent because of this. Rejoice that you are one of the wise, free men who had decided to claim his sovereignity!

basically i think its true, for sure the whole natural order of hypergamy vs polygamy is totally logical and makes sense alot in terms of evolution, survival and evolutionary biology.

.....i think MGTOW is more a reaction to the development of sexuality within modern society. it only works in nature, once you intorduce the tribalism that is modern families/cities/societies and then digital media, media, news, pop culture, social media, it just perverts that nature of women SO much.

same way i would be able to be happy with a 6/10 girl 20 years ago but now after years of digital 4k porno with big titty models. i need at least a 8/10 to even get a boner. oh well, evolution at its weirdest.

Yes /r/MGTOW should exist. In the past if the deal went bad a man could always just get-up-and-go. So there was an incentive for the woman to behave herself.

Now, the Legal System entraps a man, if the woman cucks him, or breaks any agreed upon marriage rules, everything still goes in her favor, and the legal system still rapes the man.

IMO MGTOW isn't anti-women, its anti-legal system. Make the laws fair again, and I think alot of MGTOW would still seek relationships.
