Many men make the mistake of girlfriends being the main storyline in their lives. For those willing to date it is best If you consider them a side quest and focus on yourself and be the best you want to be; then frankly women will be crawling out of the wood work for you.

But this is mgtow and we choose not to play that particular game.

Ive had good ones, some scatter all types. Some have been good flings, some have been good lovers. Some ended when boredom started to set in and/or the lovely dovey glasses starting to wear off, but the one that really hit home is my last long term relationship of two years where I realized her growing control in the relationship that I felt I could not stop. She became more emboldened about how the relationship should be and basically said that there are times where I am going to have bend over backward to make her happy or give 90 and she gives 10. Thank god, That was a wake up call. I ended it.

I often think about if it was my fault that I couldnt reign in her behavior. MGTOW will tell you there is no way.

Had several "good relationships" with women... in fact, never really had a "bad"* one...

Of course, I was always more or less MGTOW, and as a result (somewhat unwittingly**) using "dread game" tactics on them -- not because I was intentionally using "game" (such labels didn't exist back then) -- but just because that's who I am, how I roll so to speak; never EVER allowed them to really get "under my skin" and any attempts to shit test me or otherwise manipulate/control me... simply got rejected/rebuffed (i.e. there's the door sweetie...)

But in the end it doesn't/didn't matter, because even women you have "good relationships" aren't (IMHO) worth the effort nor -- especially these days -- are they worth the "risk" of taking it any further (I'd sooner cut off my nuts and have people call me, surely!)

* By which I mean nothing even remotely like the nightmares I've seen friends endure, nor the least of the horror stories guys have written about on here over the years.

** I say "somewhat" because it's not like I didn't know what I was doing -- maintaining distance, not falling for any codependent or emo-manipulative shit (I'm not a psychopath, but the whole "crocodile tears" bit just always seems amusing to me, so smirk/chuckle etc is my natural reaction as I walk away from the "tantrum") -- rather it's that I wasn't following any "method" or anything... and most certainly didn't think of how I was responding as some "tactic" much less that it was collectively "dread tactics."

I'd almost say it was just "instinctive" on my part -- but I know that isn't entirely true -- it was a "learned" behavior pattern, and just something I sort of passively figured out watching a host of other people interact (probably not the least the way my father interacted with and "teased" my mother; but also the opposite, the "fawning" over chicks that I saw various simps {like my older brother} do, and swearing that I would NEVER end up like that, nor do ANY of that).

Relationship-wise I've had a good experience, but for the process of finding a relationship? Hell no.
