I was reminded of this during a discussion with a friend of mine where he confided in me about a situation at work.

For those working as a cog in the big corporate machine (yes, I’m one of you, for now). Do not get personally involved or friendly with the women in the office. Keep it strictly professional. Be polite, no need to be standoffish, rude, or mean, just professional and perhaps boring (so they leave you alone), Focus on getting the work done, but do not let the camel into the tent of your personal life.
