Reminds me of my first deployment, they said you just live through it. Constant rpg fire and Non stop gunfire, for months. They would set EIDs outside the base for months so we wouldn’t leave the base without EOD support. Constant fire, I hated it, I was the radio operator, still think about it, I was the radio operator, I called in the 9 lines. It fuckin” sucking sucked. I hated it.
