Robin Williams died a multi, multi, multi millionaire. The man was a life long sufferer of depression, alcoholism and cocaine addiction. It's this and his way of dealing with it, making others laugh, that made him as successful as he was, but it also contributed massively to his death. As well as the life long depression, Robin had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, a condition with a life expectancy of 5 years, that would be filled with the days of the total confusion and inability to remember what's recently happened, delusional thinking, hallucinations and Parkinson like tremors that Robin was certainly already experiencing from time to time when he killed himself and he simply decided he didn't want that.

To say divorce, and ultimately losing money, made Robin Williams kill himself, is to piss on his grave. He wasn't weak. You don't get to the heights he got being mentally weak. He was broken.

It was not the divorces, it was the judgements.

The financial burden would drive many to suicide.
