Male officials don't usually get hit that hard because they know to get out of the way.

People forget that officials have to be able to keep up with the players. Just being the first female to understand the rules shouldn't be enough.

Another point i forgot to make is most the referee's have to wait a few seasons to have the privilege of being picked to do a playoff game. Isn't this her first full season officiating? Oh yeah i forgot we are talking the NFL who has made accepting the pussypass part of the event now.
