I do know of a dude who married a woman with cancer just to get her on his medical insurance to try to save her life. I'm actually okay with that. She was in a desperate situation. If someone outside the USA is reading this, people here aren't guaranteed access to health care and thus very often get health insurance through their work, and they can also cover a spouse and kids.

I can give her a pass because her situation was dire. What I can't stand is women who aren't in that kind of need and just marry a man to use him for money.

Only one person is getting the benefit in this arrangement. And women will not do this to benefit the man.

Edit: al least in marriage the man can expect some company and occasional sex. In this arrangement they are taking that away completely.
