-Women are weaker and more dependant on the environment --->they seek the best man they can attract, so as to obtain his resources --->they always feel the need to upgrade, even if they already found a good catch ---> they don't have a real sense of loyalty and are able to monkey-branch without much remorse or pain ---> they are never satisfied with what they have.

Men are stronger, more independant ---> they seek a woman they are attracted to and could be a good mother to his children and a good companion ---> men are more likely to be satisfied with the woman they have ---> most men can't monkey-branch unless they are famous or very rich, which they aren't --> men dwell more on breakups and suffer more once a relationship ends.

Men are in general more likely to entertain abstract ideas ---> most writers/musicians/artists are men ---> romanticism is a male thing ---> men start to write about love that conquers mundane circumstances and lasts for good ---> men write most of the romantic stuff you've read and watched.

I'm not aware of any science behind AWALT.

AWALT is just a concept that to many MGTOW have experienced on their own trough years of dating, relationships or failed marriages.

Starting as a teen I've wasted a few years as an orbiter for a few girls that led me on but just kept me as backup, a few more years on dating and 8 more years on a relationship. I don't want to waste anymore money, time and feelings for another woman. The love part only lasts a few years if you're lucky, next they will get bored, sex goes away (with you) and the final step, they'll start looking for better providers while continuing to exploit you. All this while you're doing everything by the book, support her financially, emotionally, buy her gifts give her attention, etfukingt.

If you don't believe in AWALT you just have to get burned a few times on your own, hopefully you'll be careful and you won't lose half your shit and pay trough the roof for 18 years.

The book "The red queen" shows the science behind awalt. Even in nature, with pair bonding animals like penguins the female cheats and attempts to cuck the male.

I'm going to paraphase what turd flinging monkey said about AWALT.

He acknowledge that while NAWALT (Not All Women are like that) he did argue that AWHTTHI or All Women have the hypergamy instinct.

They are hypergamous because since the beginning, women have always desired the best for the sake of her offspring. So better resources means better genes, better stability and better life.

In cases where MGTOW describes some women as 'unicorns' they have the instinct to be hypergamous, some are unable to practice it due to having no offers to better or higher access to the top men.

So while AWALT isn't true, AWHTTI is probably more plausible and less generalizing because let's face it. It's not generalizing if its true right?

There's plenty of research on primate (specifically, great ape) social dynamics. It was (and still is) untainted by PC culture. We're somewhere in between bonobos and chimps.

AWALT is not a cut and dry concept per se. Some girls reveal the characteristics and intentions right away, others wait ten years into a marriage before turning AWALT. If you embrace this you eliminate all of your risk outside of STDs, pregnancy. She can't divorce rape you if you know to never give her that opportunity.

AWALT is the result of a cultural dynamic. If there is any science/biology behind it, it is not primary.

Women do not understand many concepts that are essentially male concepts, love, honor, sacrifice, commitment, deferral, heroism, courage, etc... They just are not trained in those idea. They spend there time training to steal resources from others through the women relationship manipulation while men are learning to overcome obstacles and build through team concepts. It is social and political not science and biology.

I think that, while not all women are like that, the probability of finding one who's not already taken, and is interested in the individual searching for one, searching for that one, sifting through those people who are statistically going to lie and deceive you, is not worth it. It's of course your choice, but the probability is it won't go well.

women love resources and utility. the man is irrelevant. in her mind hes just a cardboard cutout in the movie of her life, and any man that can provide her better resources and utility can slide right in and replace him. the longer you provide for a woman, the more she will lose attraction and resent you, because she knows she is not worth such a sacrifice, and any man willing to waste his resources and energy on her she views as a weak man who is easily manipulated. women are attracted to selfish narcissistic sociopathic qualities, the dark triad qualities, because men who exhibit these qualities will lie, cheat and steal, and be able to provide the most resources. also, women have these qualities embedded in themselves, like attracts like. she instinctively knows the best ways for her to manipulate and get resources, but if her mate is capable of the same tactics, combined with the superior strength and intelligence of a man, well that is going to be the best mate, in her mind. i kindof went off, and not all of this applies to all women. but this is kindof a general overview of how fucked up they are. the tl;dr is that not AWALT. but AWFLT. all women FEEL like that. some may not act on their feelings, and may be able to suppress them for a long time, but generally they win out.

oh one other thing. women do not have a "good will bank". they are not like men where if u do something nice for your friend, he will feel indebted to you and will pay u back. with women u can pour your heart and soul into her for twenty years and she will drop u like a bad habit without a second thought. infact, with women its kindof the opposite, the more you do for her, the weaker she views u.

After my wife's affair, and two other random fucks, I was picking up the kids for "my weekend", when my son said, "Mom, you're growing a mustache!" Sure enough, there's peach fuzz where there never was before. She was about 32 then, and in the throes of a hormonal rush that she was wearing on her face. Men don't get a midlife crisis of hormonal overload, but she sure did, and it went a long way towards explaining the sudden need to fuck anything that came through our front door. I had always read that women don't peak sexually till 30ish, I am now sure it's true.

This is pretty basic science? There has to be a need behind something. Women genuinely love their young children because they need to protect them. Men genuinely love women because they need to protect them. There is absolutely no purpose of female love for men, it is counter-intuitive for them to have only one partner through life and only allow one pair of genes a chance to join hers. Sexual competition is necessary so that the best genes are passed on to maximise the survival of the species.
