I've never heard a guy say he is settling or any instance in which people discussed "men who settle" when it comes to partnering. This is obviously not the case with women, as we hear often of women who "settled" on marrying a school teacher or something and are miserable. What an insult to men and an exaltation of a woman's unearned status.
