The male crew were stationed at lifeboats with pistols to shoot any man who ”panicked” and tried to climb aboard. Obviously they could have easily overcome the staff if they had tried.

Interestingly a prominent feminist at the time said that the sacrifice of those men shouldn't be praised, because it was simply expected of them.

More female middle class passengers survived than third class children. Those women climbed on the boats knowing that the seats they occupied could have gone to children instead.

Also at the time, you would have been a social outcast. This is what happened to J Bruce Ismay, the Chairman of White Star Line who was onboard Titanic that night. After helping many women and children into life rafts, he, right at the very end with no one left to put on the last lifeboat, jumped in. He was basically called a coward for the rest of his life, despite the inquiry into the sinking, finding that he had saved many people and only got into a life raft after he could find no one else and "if he had not, he would have merely added one more to the casualties, namely, himself".

If the society is tyrannical and patriarchal:

why the powerfull and merciless patriarchy did nothing when feminists started to take over media, schools, colleges, social media etc?

why women never really attempted separating from men in the manner MGTOW does?

Why public scorn and gravy sentences for rape were implemented during the times before feminism, even though rape is the instrument of control and terror against women. Why shoot yourself in the leg?

Feminism LITERALLY takes reality and turns it backwards, using the very fact that we live in a society that worships women as their primary tool.

If we actually lived in any kind of anti-woman patriarchy the entire culture would be entirely different, and obviously feminism would never be allowed, let alone the primary government policy of the Western world.

The reason why there were so few boats was because of radio it was believed that there were so many ships around that could be called by radio that the lifeboats would simply be used to transfer passengers between ships and infact you were safer staying on board until a rescue ship arrived. Hence the initial lifeboats went out half empty many women wanted to stay on board and see if a rescue ship would arrive. The ship crew took the meaning of women and children first to mean that until the women left the men should stay and sent the first boats off half empty.
