Maybe a little off topic, but damn do I respect those men who worked on crazy high buildings back then (still do today, but with safety improvements it is a different story). Just looking at that picture makes my stomach turn a little bit, I can't imagine sitting up there eating lunch like it was nothing..not to mention working up there!

Here I am sitting at a computer getting paid, in large part thanks to the men of past generations.

Well done brothers (past and present) who work in dangerous or physically exhausting jobs. You have my respect.

Reminds me of my mother comparing her total 27 months of pregnancies with my dad’s 24 months of military service, including 6 months in a conflict zone. No, mom, it’s not the same.

One creates the men who build those buildings. Sure the woman doesn’t do fucking shit to build it, but she labored for 9 months.
