I had a lot of group assignments and more importantly event management(usually 50+ other students working under me) for stuff like state level competitions and whatnot.

My secret to success? Always choose subservient idiots as your working partners. The guys who will blindly follow orders. Read ahead, I insist.

Whenever I had an academic assignment, I would go up to the weakest students in my class, and tell them that I was doing the entire assignment, and all they had to do was sign their name on it. Nothing else. Then, I would follow through with my promise and single handedly earn 5-6 people an undeserved A.

Why? Why would I burden the entire responsibility of a huge group assignment? Simple. People are unreliable. Women, even worse.

I study in the humanities section. Majority of my class(75%) are women. And out of the remaining 25% men(10-12 guys) I honestly find just myself and one other guy to be academically talented. Which means that in order for me to find fellow students who were at my level, I had to rely on females.

In the past, I had almost flunked some classes because of "drama" in my assignment groups. Girls arguing with each other over stupid things, being unreliable idiots who think they are all the smartest people in the world. It got so ridiculous that three girls who were "bffs" ended up in a huge argument which required the teacher's intervention.

So now, my class openly knows I do an entire project and just ask for classmates to sign on it. I suspect even the teachers must be aware of it at this point.

Do I wish I had classmates who I could work with? Yes. Do I acknowledge my bad situation, and do something to fix it, even if it means me doing 5-6 times the work? Yes. Such is life.

Women lie. If her mom was really in the hospital, she could have notified someone in her group or the instructor that she would be unavailable to work on the project.

Dump her from your team immediately. She's inconsiderate and will screw you over again in the future.
