When I opened a second account and started depositing my checks in there so we could pay the bills, she got mad when her slush fund (my lionshare contribution) dried up. It became about me not telling her, not the fact she was squandering my hard earned cash on booze, cigarettes, etc. This was before smartphones so she was still dumb enough to use my computer to email her friends about what a shit I was because she didn’t know about key stroke logging. How quickly they turn on you...

she might've found you physically attractive but for the most part it was what you could do for her that she liked the most. they're shallow creatures and can't truly love a man they're involved with. at least in time's past they were trained to be domestic and to know their role. that's why they were better then than now. it wasn't because they weren't hypergamous and more prone to cheat than guys.

I do not understand letting one's current romantic entanglement have access to one's phone, computer or finances.
Even when I was married I had a private bank account, and so did she. There was a small joint account for bills and the mortgage. Come divorce time later on, this decision turned into a godsend.

That's a great idea actually. Ask to see their phone but you're really just watching their reaction. Tells you all you need to know.

I've read somewhere before that cheaters tend to pull off stuff like that. It's all projection.

"I learned a lot from that relationship.Like never getting into a relationship again."
Facts😎

Yeah I've been there. I had a relatively short lived relationship with someone like this before I met my wife. She asked for my pw and she gave me hers. The problem was she had app locks for WhatsApp and stuff like that so I only really had access to her emails and picture gallery. When I called her out on it she'd just accuse me of cheating on her to deflect. She wasn't wrong tbh, I was fucking her friend within 2 months of being with her 😂 and I had that calculator+ app that hides messages, pictures and videos in a vault away from prying eyes. I felt kind of bad until I realised she was cheating on me from day one. Dumbest relationship I've ever been in.

If Ive learned anything, when a chick starts digging through your shit (she'll do it with or without your permission), she's 100% projecting. She might find something minor to get mad at and blow out of proportion but it's nothing compared to what she is doing. For example, a girl who I had been friends with for several years who I hadnt spoken to in quite some time simply wished me happy birthday. Ex lost her damn mind. Meanwhile she's snapchatting 3 or 4 different guys.
If any guys here think your girls or ex's didn't ho through your shit, you're wrong. Every girl I was ever with went through stuff.
Take a shower or a dump without your phone? She'll go through it. Texting or doing anything on your phone when youre with her...she'll peer over your shoulder constantly. Be nice and let her use your laptop, she will go through your history and if anything is left logged in, it's free game

When I confronted my wife (soon to be ex wife) about cheating, the first thing she said was "so you've been checking up on me?". As if I was the bad guy. Unreal.

Or when they justify it by saying "I was just trying to have a little fun". That one drives me up the wall

Hypergamy doesn’t care if “she was drunk, he was cute, and one thing led to another..”

Once she realizes that the well went dry, either though job loss or her draining it, they quicklyl turn on you and start gaslighting you to all her so-called friends. If she thinks she lost social status points, which means it's easy to manipulate her, that'll also trigger the gaslighting.
It's a character trait that extends to all lher behavior. For the pole dancers if one flag goes off they all start waving if you look close enough. She gone you 'betta off maybe order some takeout; you never know she might get the pole dancer.

I came home from work one day and came home to my laptop wide open with the ex sitting with her arms crossed looking salty as fuck one day.
She had went through every single thing on my laptop...Im talking facebook, finances, emails. Everything.
She had found conversations on Facebook I had with other females before we had even started dating, as there was nothing else to find and was pissed about it.
In the beginning she was unsure about the relationship and we werent serious so I was talking to a couple of other women; one of which Ive been friends with for years. Nothing out of ordinary conversation was said. Yet I was the devil for even daring to do that.
Meanwhile, she had been texting a dude she used to bang, and kept an emotional simp tampon around who she claimed was a "best friend". But nope, she didn't want to see the issues with that.
Basically was super hypocritical even though what she was doing was far worse (classic projection) and also invaded every form of privacy I had.
I started to plan my exit that day

What is with these women that literally try to turn everything around and can not simply acknowledge their fault in anything? Its like they always point out our shit but dont take a step back and maturely see that they are either no better or in no position to call anything out? It just drives me crazy man, the hypocrisy is just unbelievable, and probably my biggest pet peeve.

I know exactly how you feel man. Whenever the ex tried to give me shit for something, Id compare to something that was almost the exact same as something she did, except usually worse and it was like watching a ape trying to comprehend calculus.
When we split up one of the many reasons I gave her was because I was afraid that if we ever got married, she'd rake me over the coals if we ever got divorced. She thought it was ridiculous I could even think that.
Fast forward 2 months after she moved out and she tries to threaten me to get money out of me despite not owing her a cent.

Yea man.....everytime my ex and i got into an argument and I even remotely tried to defend myself or bring up a valid point ...it was always "your turning it around again" literally just had to bite my tongue and take it man, not to mention how fucking immature she was to realize how many dumb things she did and didnt give a fuck....its ok tho 2 felony drug charges and a dui later i hope it she wakes up...sad part is i think her lawyer is gunna get her off with some fines and community service...pisses me off

[–]ThirstySasquatch1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Jesus my ex always used to say I was turning it around on her too. One day I just said, "im not turning it around on you. Im defending myself and proving your wrong and you dont like it." My ex was 22
