The fact that you need someone else to be happy is sad. The best thing to do is learn to be on your own. Find a hobby, learn something new, work on yourself! If you cannot truly be happy by yourself, then you certainly cannot be happy with someone else. It's a shame that people don't seem to have that mentality these days.

They wouldn't be happy with someone else, or not for long. What they're feeling is just the instinctive need for a provider/protector that isn't a faceless government. But we know how they treat those guys. Lots of rules, lots of complaining, very little sex, and the sex they do give is relentlessly vanilla compared to what they love giving Chad (even now). And then divorce when a better monkey-branching opportunity comes along.

Don't fall for it. Women are evolved to exploit men and they're good at it. They do it naturally and without any need for self-awareness. It's all just instinctive.

I will never understand people who need someone else to be happy. Your happiness is solely your responsibility and if you aren't happy alone, lool inwards and reflect.

Other people may bring additional happiness. Friends, partners and family may bring more joy to your life. But if your life is sad in the absence of loved ones, it's just sad.

Wishing to be in a relationship just so you don't feel lonely is even more pathetic.
