So today was my flex day from my new diet so I don't go insane. For those of you not familiar, a flex day is where you get to eat outside of your normal diet (usually unhealthy) so you keep a good balance. I decide to go to the local burger joint which is conveniently located near an Adam and Eve Sex shop. Well out comes walking my ex with her new man with a big bag. At first I don't recognize her but then I turn around and do a double shot and it's certainly her. The man she so quickly left me for is ugly as hell (saying this as objectively as possible). He's 20 from what I understood before GMOW, racked up with student debt, not going much of anywhere.

Anyway, this guy wanted to fight me a few months back - I got into a huge argument with my ex who wanted to call me to 'check up on how I was doing' and I called her a cunt. He so happened to hear it (thinking the phone was on speaker phone or she wanted the drama, probably the latter) and said he wanted to fight me. I'm not one for violence but I wasn't going to back down - long story short he backs down. Now I'm face to face with this guy again - I think he's going to start some shit and I have to prepare myself. Oddly enough they just walk by and laugh. Normally this would have bothered me but since going my own way I join in on them laughing. They must have left confused as hell. I laughed because I realized she still hadn't lost any weight, she was stuck with some loser and I was building my future way ahead of her while she would still be spending it away (not to mention their sex life must have gotten boring already if they're visiting a sex shop).

It's pretty incredible how just a year ago this whole incident would have had me burning up in the inside and would have bothered me all day but instead I'm in a zen like total calm and I'm happy that I'm free from this girl and all the bullshit that comes along with a LTR. It's very hard breaking from a love mindset but if you understand the simple principle that men love and women don't you'll never be let down.
