I work with this girl who is one of my superiors in position. She's dating a hot young Chad who's got it all and also happens to be her direct subordinate. This is completely unprofessional and unethical because this woman is in a position to influence his career trajectory. I have outed her on her relationship, to which she sort of admits but leaves room for plausible deniability. Anyways the other day we had to do this workplace safety test, which I was the first one to pass, so I sent around helping people. Then she comes to me and says (she's really saying this to the whole room): "Uh I think the ethics of this are sort of questionable, right?" "No not really." I say, and continue to help others. Not one person refused my help either.

This chick hates me because I outed their relationship in private - just her and I and so has been getting others (women) to hate me.

Moral of the story is: A man cannot afford to be ambivalent about other people's feelings, it will cause him more trouble than it will them.
